I have a giant bottle of dex3 I don't want to buy more, I can't find official specs and I don't care that honda fluids are recommended. Every time I search I just come upon threads that turn into pissing matches about fluid type and the right way to chang ethe fluid. I don't care about any of that, I just want to know If I can put dex3 in it, that is all.

Use only Honda ATF DW-1, just got some in my car and I noticed smoother shifting.

 

you could put anything in it even orange juice but whether it will do what your transmission needs it to do is another story.
