Vtec, vtec,not vetch.

And what motor depends on alot of stuff.
A z6 is a nice motor to start with. Can be turbo and push around 250hp if done right.

And start by researching and looking over other people builds.

SO you don't even have the car yet? See my signature? Read all the information you find in the links. Twice.

Read the FAQs, go buy a car then start a thread where you buy a bunch of cheap Ebay parts and say it is only until you can afford real parts event though we are all telling you they are unsafe and shoddy.

why would i buy one car only to have to take out the whole engine, why not buy the car already with at least the block that i want? i wont buy cheap ebay parts im not a noob mechanic im a heavy duty tech and dont usually work on this small stuff. ive got 20k to work with and i want to build a fast vtec turbo civic hatch.

that's how you buy them....then you swap the engine of your choice in.... unless bought not built . but if you have 20K ! k-swap it then boost it no point in asking us. but some how i'm not sold on the 20K budget....you could build WAY more than a DD might as well get an integra shell do a jdm front conversion then k swap looks 10x better than any civic

That's the way to do it. Make an account and come in with your guns a blazin. Using impressive phrases like heavy duty tech, and throwing around big numbers for a budget. Take notes kiddos.

OP should just buy a shell and build it up anyway he wants to. Drop a Vette engine in if he's more used to working on those.

Knock yourself out. But if I had 20k I wouldn't be bothering with a Civic.

i was going to build an mk2 golf, but pars are way more money and alot harder to find than civic parts. i thought a 20k budget wouldnt get me much, a vette engine is not heavy duty lol thats auomotive. if i wanted an engine that i could work on it would be a cat c17 or something but that is not what i want. im not agains other suggestions i just really like the hatch look and dont want to go over 20k and that includes paint

Coming here and posting would be useless if all people did was search, stfu and stop being a hard *** on a forum. Guy made a post asking a question, either answer or gtfo. Stop trolling cause you really suck at it.

You're new here too! Its a tech forum, not "Hey mom can you wipe my *** for me" forum. Damn kids come on here all the time asking how to do every single little thing without any know-how on how to do so. Then they do everything we tell them NOT to do and complain about it. Mishako129 is a great example of this over on the Accord forum.

So shut it.
