91 Honda civic start problems
Let me just start by saying I've been looking into this the last few days I searched google I just can't find what I'm looking for. Okay so I was driving to hermiston Oregon from Portland (I've done this trip in this car 100 times) I get to about to miles out and stop at a rest area to walk the dog and the girlfriend. We get into the car and I have dash lights then I tried to start it and NOTHING. We then tried to push start it still nothing. I jumped it and that didn't do anything. I just got a new battery not even a year ago. Checked all my grounds And fuses. This is my dd so anything will help out more then nothing. Oh also I am pretty new to working on cars so if you could go into amazing details like your trying to teach a retard. Haha thanks I'm advance for the help!
Probably the clutch safety switch, then. If you look up towards the top of your clutch pedal rod, you will see a switch. You can jumper it to test. It is kind of hard to get to. Search for it on this site for more details.
okay i checked it out and i tested the blue wire? i think it was and there was no power to it. so my question is would it be the whole wire maybe fried or is it normal to not have power when not being used? oh and is there to different switches? i found this one but i thought it was more like a switch please help this is my dd and im a caregiver so this is really sucky for me

this happened to me.. my problem was the clutch safety switch would not engage. Little flimsy plastic or rubber piece might of fell off. Fixed it today. Try manually pushing the switch (located high on the clutch pedal rod kinda hard to get to) and turning the key but make sure it is in NEUTRAL. Your battery must have a good charge for it to kick over
I tried the clutch thing and that didn't work. I wish I was still living In Portland I moved to hermiston. I found a blue and black wire and the neither of them are getting power.
