Just picked up an 89 EF Sedan LX. Wanted to know the differences between 88-89 and 90-91 SEDANS ONLY before I start buying parts. Also how do you guys feel on the ebay clear turn signals and clear bumper signals? is the fitting good? looks oem? tried searching for oem ones but everywhere is sold out and discontinued.

 

Mostly lil body part changes (take time to read the FAQ posted @ top of forum,as it covers most ?'s asked -every day,again,lol...) Matter of preference on ebay lights,been there done it muhself but prefer the amber "JDM" single bulb corners/bumpers on muh `88. (check ebay for used sets,they pop up even here in the FOR SALE section) G'luck!

 

Quick foot notes:

- tail lights
- front bumper
- gauge cluster
- steering wheel
- hazzard light switch
- body side moldings

all i can think of off the top of my head

 

Trunk lid is different too because the reverse lights are in different spots. Learned this when i got a 88 to replace te one on my 91 and now cant use it.

90-91 also have auto seatbelts.

88-89 have external screws in the front corner lenses and 90-91 do not.

Bumper filler is also different
