Default 1998 USDM Type R in Jamaica!

I just wanted to create a post of my bro's USDM Type R that he has here in Jamaica. Unlike in the US, the USDM Type R is very rare here. We have plenty JDM Type Rs and only 2 USDMs and 1 EDM Type R.

Here are the specs as it sits today:

Engine:
Type R Head - Head was given an even more aggressive port job (over the factory port) and polished
Skunk2 Pro series Valve Springs & Retainers
Skunk2 Pro2 Cams
Skunk2 Pro series Intake Manifold (TB side was ported to 70mm, runners were also ported)
70mm Skunk2 Throttle Body
AEM Cold Air Intake (painted black)
Gates Racing Timing Belt

B20Z Block:
Supertech Forged Pistons (12.5:1)
Crower rods & rod bolts
Cometic head gasket
ACL Race Bearings (Main & Rod)

Exhaust:
4-1 PLM Headers
Full mandrel bent 2.5" piping
Forza muffler

Gearbox:
Syncrotech 1st-5th carbon syncros
Cusco 50-50 Lsd
4.7 final gear
Stage 4 sprung clutch and PP

Suspension & Brakes:
Tein Fully Adjustable Coilovers
Mugen Front Upper Strut bar
Energy Suspension mounts
Steel braided brake lines
Upgraded cross drilled rotors (Front & Rear)
Upgraded front calipers
Beaks tie bar

Interior:
Mugen steering wheel

On to the pics:

With polished ITR headers (before the PLM upgrade)

The result of our crappy pump gas (smoothing set to 0); Neptune chip, stock ecu:

He posted it for sale yesterday for US$9500. It's come a long way, going to be sad to see it go.

lol... it's not actually a splitter, its a rubber lip that he installed under the front lip. helps protect the lip from being scratched. the car was lower when he installed it but he's raised a bit since installing the new headers.

Thanks... I've decided that I can't let him sell it so I've sold my USDM Civic Si and I'm buying it from him today

I already have a few other parts that I'm going to being installing over the next 2 weeks to clean up the engine bay some more

You know I have no idea what brand or design those sideskirts are. I was told at one point that they were mugen but I've never seen mugen sideskirts of that design. The only ones that i've seen that are similar are the zeal sideskirts. Can anyone confirm? I'll be reinstalling them on the car tho since i've always liked them.
