I KNOW THERE ARE THREADS ON THIS but could anyone post a pic of the actual spot where they are notorious for leaking

 

there isn't one place, it's all over. Under the rain gutter strips and near the hatch hinges, the seam sealer cracks and separates allowing water in. Possibly also happening around the top of the windshield, but sealing under the gutter strips and around hatch hinges fixes it most of the time.

 

i had the same problem with mine i pulled my roof moldings, cleaned the corners by the window and the hatch. then smeared permatexs over the cracks. i ran a hose over the car before i put the new molding in because there pricey. And i haven't had a problem with a pond being formed in my passengers floor board
