ok i am not new to HT. I have always used this site for everything. I hardly never post cuse 99.99% of the time if i read other post and threads i find what i am looking for, but today i cant and for once i need to post. lol.

I am building a lsvtec with a b18b1 bottom bored from 81mm to 81.5 the new pistons are ITR on stock ls rods. my problem that i am running into is the rods are a very snuf fit in pistons. is this ok? or are they floating pistons and need more clearance?

My main question is. What are the clearance numbers for the piston/rods and do i need to machine the rods?

This may not help. But you shouldn't be using LS rods, their the weakest part on any build. At very least change the rod bolts to some ARP ones.
