G3 Clock no worky please help!!!
Hey everyone, I just picked up my first teg a few months ago and the clock didnt work. I finally sourced a new one thinking the clock was broken. The new one doesnt work either. Im gonna pull out the ol test light tomorow. Could somebody hook me up with a wiring diagram so I can figure this out wich wire is supposed to have power incase its been cut. TIA

Havent checked them but Im pretty sure its on the same fuse *** the sterio and that works just fine everything else works also dash lights dome etc.. Im gonna double check as soon as I get a chance. I really need to figure out wich wire is hot for the clock it has a 4 wire plug
check your fuses... if not that then its a loose wire around for your clock.... cuase that same thing happened to me but my cig lighter and i still can't find the loose wire for it..
what marty said...but honestly do you really need the clock that much my suggestion is put a Valentine ONe in the car...
Screw the clock that is what watches were made for

my clock went out once, i thought it was my radio fuse too, but it wasnt.. its a 7.5fuse under the hood, called "backup power" or soemthing close to that.
There's a wiring diagram on the clock itself for the plug that plugs into the clock. The clock just kinda pulls out, just make sure you dont pull on the little cover for the minute/hour/reset deal, as it breaks real easy. Hope this helps!
Ok it works now. It was the fuse near the battery. Im used to vw's where the clock, radio, and cig lighter are on the same fuse. Thanks for all your help
