Introduction....
Hi There,
I'm a relatively new owner of a 1993 Civic DX hatchback. Ten years ago I had the use of a 1987 Civic hatchback for several years and I don't know why I waited so long to find another...
I was a sports car nut as a teenager and they ruled my life! My first car was a 1954 Jag XK120 DHC. Next came my 1960 Austin 850 and then the Army.... While still in the Army I found myself a 1960 Porsche 356B and drove that for a long time. Mine had the unfortunate problem of many 356's from being lifted incorrectly and having the box-section structure to the body fractured. In New England that was a death sentence for the car. Next I found a 1960 Alfa 2Liter Spyder. That was wonderful to drive but not a winter car and since I was ski-patroling in those days, I found a fine old Falcon to drive for the winter.
As much as I liked the fine cars I had owned, the Falcon freed me to do many other things that had been put off by my car maintenance. As an old guy I'm able to spend more time with my 'ride' and have time for both a 'work' car and another to enjoy. My 'Greenmachine' is doing a good job of providing enjoyment, even though right now I'm stuck trying to figure out how some of its engine parts came together. I love the little car and it is the most comfortable of my cars, on long drives, since the 356B.
As I progress from a trial user to a member, I'll post up pictures of the other cars.
Glad to be here and looking forward to being part of this forum.
