weird clicking noise???
Ok i've noticed that when i turn my wheel all the way to make a u-turn or something that i get this clicking noise coming from my front wheels. Does anybody have an idea of what it could be?
If your car has high mileage, just replace both axles. If one CV boot is going, the other is sure to follow. And doing the whole axles might come out cheaper than just the boots if you do it yourself and buy refurbished axles.

The clicking noise is from the CV Joint itself. Basically meaning the replacement of the half shaft(New Axle). Apparently the grease inside the CV Boot has some how gotten out or contaminants have gotten into the boot(Dirt).
If money's short, just swap the CVs from one side to the other. You'll get a few more miles out of them.
wtf man? you can't swap fwd axles, they're different lengths. besides, that's not gonna stop the clicking.
