hey guys i want to get an idea of what people are running in their EF's with 1.8 Liters or above. basically gsr's, lsvtec's and i guess b20 vtecs too thanks.
mmm, seen jdm gsr ef run low 13's even 12.9w/slicks... i think that a 2000lbs(w/driver) car that makes 200hp to the ground, and runs slicks should sneak into the 12's.

my friend went 12.9 NA w GSR boltons, slicks, chipped ecu.
i have ran 13.20@102.5 and 13.23@103 with the following setup:
first gen b16 stock head
stock 96' gsr block
stock head gasket
stock intake
obx 4-2-1 header
2.5" crush bent exhaust with dragunfire muffler
110oct race gas on 19 degrees timing
chipped pr3 with spoon program 4500 vtec and 8500 rev limit (still running lean; not sure why with a supposed 9.8 compression and first gen b16 cams)
and lightened doors and 20x6x14 m/t slicks on Hx wheels for a weight of 1980 w/driver
and i was wondering trying to get an idea of what i could run with a gsr head and probably CTR intake cam and sprockets.

yeah you use just a b16a or b18c head gasket they are both the same thing and gsr timing belt. the only other way you could do it would be to use a Ls water pump and an Ls timing belt which is slightly smaller than the GSR. but then again there is really no reason to do that.
When you are using the B18C1 Block with a B16 head, do you use the GS-R head gasket and what timing belt?
I ran a 15.9 with H/I/E/FPR/cam gears/ported manifold/bored TB/pulley/stock ecu.
All I can say is its a horrible time, but it was also my first time at the track.

yeah...but that was the only 1.8 that i got. the rest where 2.0-2.4 And i could tell that the slicks werent grabbing...... they were spinning like street tires. b4 they would bite right of the line hard!!! so im guessing i need something bigger.
