HID from low to high beam issues

HID from low to high beam issues
So i put the new headlight housing and hid kit in. Theres a black box that i slide the connectors in and i cant seem to figure out y i cant get them to switch back and forth from inside the car. Is there a relay i need to get or something. Appreciate the help
