first time adding pictures so going to post and hope this works, going to start an ongoing thread of my 97sh, from past to present. If pictures dont work i'll get help tomorrow from a guy at work.

SH wheels, sanded with 320grit by hand and a few rough spots with 180, then stepped it up to 400grit wet, 600 wet then 800 wet. ok trying again for second time to post pic, resized see how this comes out,.

ok better, will post again one size smaller and see how that looks then i'll know what size to use. I painted my wheels with 30 percent toyota silver 1g1 and 70 percent GM black wa8555, GM black is not a straight black like most black car but its not a pearl black.

painted center cap then came back and fine line everything but the H and painted that black.

im going back to med. size pic. this is the wheel all painted and on my new yokohama S drive tires. after sanding the wheels and using a wax n grease remover, i put a coat of etching primer down, then one coat of 2k sealer, then 3 coats of mixing 70/30 black/silver water-base coat and then 3 coats of semi-gloss clear. i think i used like 75% clear and add 25% or so of flat clear. so its not to glossy, but just right.

well im done for tonight, dont know why pics r coming out sizeways now, all pics r from my Iphone, this will be my work in progress thread. i'll try to post daily on what ive done or have in the past months, about to personally put a fresh paint job on her and i'll post pics on that and information. also the suspension and interior work we did months back. any comments to why the pics r coming out sideways would help. thanks

thank you man, been like that for a year and five months and still look great. did it on christmas eve and christmas day, wife had to work two 12 hours shifts. lol merry christmas

Will post pics tonight or tomorrow, front and rear bumper off car and removed rear lip, lights in front bumper, got them both sanded down to 180grit, got to plastic weld the holes on Front bumper where the front plate goes, removed fender splash shields and removed clips that hold rocker molding on.

Any suggestions on where to order all new lights for Front bumper, clear side marker, and smoked fog lights, and clear lights that go above fog lights! looking for good quality, thanks!

here is front and rear bumper, had to start off with 80grit on DA and work up to 180grit, front bumper was killed with rock clips and rear bumper was spyder web from being hit, and also rear bumper has been painted a few times, so had to remove some paint mil.

please let me know guys if pics r sideways on your computer! my Iphone is fine but on laptop its not, not sure if its same for u, if anyone cares,lol, and thanks snobordboy. tomorrow i'll be busy at work but may get bumpers in primer, both bodyman i have r very skilled so going to get them working on right quarter (small dent and left quarter has been hit twice and needs to be worked over again). I'm looking to get both doors broke down tomorrow too, and maybe friday get both 1/4 glasses cut out. plan on welding the H emblem holes on the hood too, did the decklid last year.

Got a lot done today, quarter glass on each side removed, body work done on right quarter completed and passenger door. Front bumper plastic welded to fill holes for front plate, filler work done on rear bumper. Also Removed driver door panel, both rocker moldings, tailights and fuel lid door.

today's update, removed hood and sanded flat with 120grit to try to remove massive rock chips and still need to weld emblem holes. driver's door- removed door handle and belt molding (driver's door completely broke down it this point). right quarter and front bumper in primer.

tomorrow's goal, try to stay motivated! my body is starting to feel it! hope to block driver door, sand and then remove fenders plus headlights, maybe paint rocker moldings, mirrors, door handles and front bumper. maybe sleep till noon and do nothing, i see people r viewing this and hope pics r coming out ok, if anyone would do me the favor and tell me, that would help!

here's the headlights, all done. got over five hours into them, what i did- sanded with 600 wet and worked up to 1000grit then sprayed 1k plastic adhesion and then clear coat, came back nexts day sanded with 1000grit and fine line and mask off to spray transparent black basecoat for smoking headlights/taillights. then removed tape and cleared. came back nexts day lol, and wet sanded 1500 up to 3000grit and buff.

got to post this and pic on headlights, love the look, after paint work is done will move on to engine information
