Inherited a 2002 accord. has 13k miles on it. Was bought, then in an accident and has sat since. Damage is to the drivers front post. Both airbags deployed. I washed the car, since it has been sitting for ten years. Seems that I have most of the body stuff, I want to make sure it runs and drives. The chassis stuff was supposed to be replaced.

I grabbed a dry cell out of one of my boats and put it in the car. Turned the key, no cranking only a clicking from near the passenger side glove box. I can feel a clicking in one of the relays on the passenger side under the hood.

Also noticed that the car was towed here in gear. When it got here, I put it in park. Now it is stuck in park and will not go in neutral.

I have heard of fuel pump shutoffs, but am not sure if hondas work differently.

well, from what I have been reading on other places on the web, this will not crank after the airbags have been deployed. I have sent the srs controller out to be rebuilt or reset then will get back at it.

I did put the key in the on position for an hour, now you can hear the fuel pump when you turn the key. no cranking yet. there are no engine codes from the obdii port.

as for getting it out of park, there is a small hole near the shifter that can be depressed to get the shifter working after a fault code.
