anyone have a link to a writeup on how to do this? i could only find writeups for coupe and hatch backs.thanks in advance

 

I thought all you ever needed for these were the proper door hardware and a floor harness from a model with power.

 

Similar procedure as for coupe/hatch. Only, don't forget the rear doors. If you want to remove the ENTIRE harness and all power parts from USDM LX or EX, be prepared to spend an entire day (8hrs) at the junkyard. Then it's just a straight swap back in to your non-power sedan. Lots of other goodies you can also take from the donor car, like centre armrest, clock, cluster w/ tacho, cruise control retrofit, trunk light. Basically, if you're going to get the wiring and power stuff, might as well spend a tiny bit of extra time and make it a full conversion.

 

i tried that and i could only find 4 doors with abs. and all of that is all wired into the power harness for some reason. but ill keep trying

 

It's no problem: Just don't hook up the ABS connectors. They're orange.

 

so i went to the junkyard and it looks like the passenger side door has a separate harness. and i couldnt trace it, so ima try again tomorrow
