Default what can i do

I bought the connecting rods of inlinePro.
These rods are calculated for
κ20 block with f22c1 crank with standard piston pin height.

But practically I saw this:

As you see it is not for any shelf piston.
it's not bolt on..

What can i do know?

those pictures kinda suck. i'm not exactly sure what the issue is. is the rod too wide to fit the piston?

yes exactly that

Supposed to be customized
but can not be practically applied

tried to fit any shelf piston (cp piston) and unfortunately does not snap.
The width of the rod is very big

those rods are made for aftermarket pistons. you're gonna have to have the rods rebushed for oem press fit pins, or get pistons made for c clips.

If that's who you bought them from why haven't you contacted them to see about a solution?

InlinePro answer:

''We make the connecting rods with a wide small end for strength using a 1.000" piston pin span. If your piston is smaller than that you can have your machine shop narrow the rod to fit the piston. This is very common and we do it on many applications''

And i ask you, which piston can fit in these rods?

And why write in web site
''for any shelf piston?''

And why i must to go a machine shop,to finish the work of inlinePro..

Although disappointed it doesnt matter. i hope the next ppl to solve this issue with manufacturer before getting hold of these K22 rods.
This is and one reason of forums right? :dude:

Thanks all!

well thats misleading. weksos.

for whatever its worth, you can have the piston modified (widened where rod goes) instead of the rod being modified as another solution.
