92 civic cx hatch-built for the strip-gutted,lexan,fiberglass etc. stock h22a with a clutch and flywheel....8 th run at the track ran a 12.86 @104. Hoping for 12.50s once we get the bugs worked out. Fun little car. Simple but effective.

back in 98, there was a 90-93 Accord 4 door with a H22 turbo from Quickshift in Socal. I believe it was doing 11's daily driven. no fiberglass at all and no cutting of the body.

H22 with JE Pistons .040 over, Ferrera Valve springs and retainers, everything else in the motor was stock...best run of 12.10@112mph only made about 9 passes. Never did get the car to 60ft better then a 1.73 so it definately had high 11sec potential. I over reved and spun a bearing.
This was in a 92 Civic CX, drag car, fiberglass, lexan, etc, etc. It doesnt take much for these motors to make power. This motor made 199hp and 163lb tq

Bone stock JDM H22 motor in an 89 Civic H/B Dynoed at 184whp.. 163ft lb torque ... gutted out... weighed in at 1740 at last event... 22x8x13 M&H slicks.

Ran 12.01@110mph
1.61 60ft
87mph @ 1/8

Um.. what else?

Like to build up the motor for next season... Any suggestions on parts?
