Broke it again. Sounding like bottom end, but I cant be sure till I do a compression and leakdown test. You can definitely hear a squeak though. Any guesses before I pull it apart?

Lol, I'm pretty sure the rod is okay. You'd hear a bit more clanging I'm pretty sure. This was a Laskey built bottom end too. So lets hope. I cracked my first block and this has many of the same symptoms. I've "been there done that" too, but I question how benson sleeves would let go at 25psi.

My guess is piston is a big gaping hole, ring is broken, or sleeve has a huge crack.

Stock valve springs? How much boost/power? Did you over rev or over boost?

Stock yeah. I have a fully ported head with S2 Pro Valvetrain sitting at home. Just hadn't put it in. Rev 8k@25psi. Probably just it's time to drop. I was actually impressed with how long this lasted. Glad it wasn't catastrophic.

Bottom End got away good. Very very minimal. It didn't completely drop. When it bent, it was bent in place high enough for the piston to never come in contact again. Thankfully I have a whole new, better top end waiting! I have a feeling this could have been some valve floating. After all, the head was bone stock.

oh, and to the guy asking me power, I kinda read over that. Last year I dyno'd at 391.9 @6600 rpm due to ignition issues.

At that boost level you need upgraded valve springs. Your valves were def floating.

Yeah I have full S2 Pro Series Valvetrain waiting along with a ported head. I didn't put it on because I wasn't planning on re tuning this year.

by the time he bends it on the vice, the metal's structural integrity is already compromised. Like a piece of small metal, once you've bent it back once, its not nearly as strong originally. Keep bending it back and forth and you'll eventually snap it.

new valve(s)..

I hope they were only kidding... I'd be surprised if anybody actually thought that would be fixable. I might buy a laskey built top end to match the bottom instead of my S2 head.
