hey i have a 96 accord lx 4 cylinder as a dd...i got it like 130k miles 3months ago and drove it 6k miles already and the car drives good just have the valve cover gasket replaced at 133k....but there is alot of gunk or oil sludge near the accessory belt and by the motor on some of the hoses..alot of it.....can i use a degreaser to clean it and then power wash it?i can post pics if needed...thank you

 

I like to use Super Clean on heavy deposits of grease/oil and Simple Green on normal dust and grime.
Let it soak in for a couple of minutes and then blast it off at the coin-op.

 

Do you know where the sludge is coming from?

 

idk but theres a lot ima clean and see if new sludge appears and from where
