Default Tps readings question

I got a reading of .55 at idle, and at WOT 4.60 for a 95 b18b1. Is this good because i know you need it at .5 and 4.5? Also, i notice when im cruising in 4th or 5th that i cant keep a steady speed. For example, i will cruising at 40 but if i try to hold it still there, it will act like the throttle isnt engaged, but if i give it throttle so it wouldnt slow down, it will go faster. I cant keep it steady, so could the readings of the tps be the culprit?

So are you saying it hesitates/stutters at 40 ? could be a dead spot in your tps did you check for them when you calibrated it ?

Like, you know how when you're in gear and let off the gas and it makes that noise and slows down, it does that when i try to keep it steady cruising at any given mph, so i have to give it more gas then let off and that gets annoying. And i haven't adjust it yet because i got to buy a dremel tomorrow to cut off the screws. My question is could the tps readings be the cause?

rotate the throttle slowly while watching voltage, if it jumps around or disappears at some spot during the time you open it, it had dead spots

Oh, then no, my tps doesn't have a dead spot. It goes up smoothly to 4.6v. Any other ideas why it cant to cruising at a steady speed? Maybe something with the throttle cable?

Now that you mentioned it, my car idles really high on start up (1600rpm), even after like 20mins of driving. Sometimes it does go down to a constant 800rpm. Could the iac cause this?

Clean out the throttle body, too. There's most likely carbon build up behind/on throttle plate.
