Default Car vibrates at idle, has pulsing idle.

My car vibrates at idle, there is also a pulsating idle sound as it happens. I have replaced and fixed everything it could possibly be; cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs, IACV, FTIV, motor mount, etc. I can't figure it out. The biggest clue I found was that when I use the power locks it get's worse. The idle also drops and the pulsating idle sound also get's worse. Its like I have a power problem.

I thought it was my alternator but that was replaced over a year ago. It doesn't make any sense. Please help.

sounds like *MOTOR MOUNTS/TRANSMISSION* mounts need to be replaced. ALL my mounts are SHOT SHOT!!!! and my car vibrates and you can feel it pulsate thru the engine. and of course the pulsating gets worse because your back motor mount is shot. its there to keep the engine from moving when you turn on a/c/lights/etc. kinda sounds like your iacv might need cleaning as the iacv compensates for the load *lights/ac/power windows/load*

The trans mount and the rear mounts are fresh. I replaced the rear mount last month and the trans mount is good.

My car has always had the vibration. When I replaced the rear mount it did help it though. I always thought it was a performance issue cause I had burnt valves, but when I did that repair it still vibrated.. I replaced the rear mount and it still vibrates.

The IACV was cleaned last month. It COULD be broken though, its rare though I heard. I do have an extra one. I'm going to put it on when I do a manifold swap.

The swap is done and the IACV was changed as well. It seems to have improved idle a lot; it doesn't vibrate as much as it used to.

The new manifold makes my car sound like a mini dohc which is cool. Someone on the Cb7tuner forum said that's what it'll do.

Good to hear that you got it idling better..... when did the vibrations start... right from the engine rebuild or after a while? Could be your balance shaft belt is off a tooth.

What does a mini DOHC sound like.... a B16? I'd rather it sound like a beefy SOHC F... but that's just me!
