Default Bad/broken IAT cause rich AFR?

So lately I got my car up and running and have been trying to tweak a few thing in Hondata regarding my tune, or lack of. The car fires right up and idles "OK" but It has a lot of misfire, rough idle, and runs really rich. Wideband hangs around 10.5 - 11 AFR (or around .60 .70 Lambda)

I got a code for #10 IAT sensor, I erased it and the code just popped right back up. The sensor looks ok but on my laptop says 123*F when the ambient temperature is only 70*.

Was wondering if these are symptoms that would be cause by a faulty IAT sensor.
I know a reputable tuner wont tune with codes im just trying to get all the basics worked out to reduce misfire and improve AFR's so there in the ballpark.

that will affect how it runs.. as for rough idle and hesitation i dont think so.. as always fix all error codes first.

Yes it can and will cause the car to run rough...the ECU will be trying to add or remove fuel and timing depending on how the IAT defaults...

Its a $20 sensor, just replace it.

Fixed the sensor and added 28% of fuel. Idles at 14.8 warmed up and doesn't seem nearly as rough. The sensor was toast...now im dealing with CODE 9! but that's a story for another day

Thanks.

you should relocate the sensor to your charge pipe before the throttle. when the manifold gets heat soaked it throws off the sensor value, which makes your tune less reliable. and it appears to be ruining your sensors anyway...

That IAT sensor didn't get ruined from being in the wrong location.
That sensor melted from having the wrong plug (evap) plugged into it.
