Default 88CRX + Koni Yellow question

I heard that for 88CRX's and ITR's, the rear shocks are NOT externally adjustable and when ordered from koni, they set the stiffness. This true?

no my boyfriend had koni yellows for his 88 civic with the ITR LCA"S and he said that you had to take them off to adjust them. so i'm pretty sur eyou can adjust them yourself but they are not externally adjustable and you have to take them off to do it

Yes, they are still externally adjustable, as long as you understand that external means "outside of the car."

In a nutshell, you must mount the rod on a vice and twist the entire shock body.
