2005 RSX Noise.... Common Issue??????????
Its a 2005 Bone Stock RSX, non type S with 100k miles on it. When Im taking off from a dead stop, I hear this Creaking sound coming from the front. Also happens when I get on the brakes (sometimes). Basically when weight shifts, I hear it. Is this sway bar links or bushings? Just feels and sounds like its suspension related.
The sound it makes sound like if you have the ebrake engaged and tried to move off. A creaking kinda sound.
I also have a feint clacking sound coming from the rear when moving off (foward or reverse) and when driving really slow on bumpy pavement.
I checked the sway bar links in the rear and they have some "play" in them when I pull on the sway bar. How tight are these links suppose to be?

I have the exact same issue, at first I thought it was something with the brakes, then noticed that it only happened with the weight shift. I took out the wheel and noticed that the bushing was a bit cracked, I was told just to get the whole control arm (front) would that be better? my ep has 160k miles

I cant see this creaking being engine mounts... It sounds like sway bar end links and at worse, sway bar bushings, but definitely gonna investigate some more as the creaking is getting worse.
For those of you that have experienced bad end links or sway bar bushings... What does it sound like?

Mine was a clunking sound and it too was present when weight was shifted. When I accelerated, braked, or turned I would hear the clunk. Looked under the car and my drivers side control arm bushing was busted. The control arm is now sitting metal to metal. Only $30 bucks for a new bushing from Acura.
