Sway Bars For Honda Accord '99
Hello All, I'm new here and to car modification in general... I've been hearing about all kinds of suspension mods from "car friends" and I've been looking into sway bar(s) and replacing my rubber pieces with polyurethane.
Any advice? Brands, front or rear....? Are they worth it at all? Again I'm looking for something that won't break the bank.

Aftermarket/upgraded sway bars certainly make a noticeable improvement on this chassis. There are several to choose from including Neuspeed and Eibach, as well as some OEM swaps. The aftermarket options generally include new polyurethane bushings and new brackets to accomodate the larger bars.
Check out the Accord FAQ at the top of the Accord Forum, and look in the suspension section. There are a few write-ups there with some good info that will help you choose and install new sway bars.

i would recommend reading through a few of the sections on the site above related to suspension. The author backs up a lot of what he talks about with real world measurements and numbers rather than a weak knowledge of physics and speculation. He even has a section on FWD which was a very insightful read. AFAccord is right, there is a lot of good info in the FAQ, but it's not as well organized.
