camber kit issues

Icon2 camber kit issues

so i had a bad upper ball joint n got a front camber kit, i cut the lip in the wheel well for it but with the ball joint all the way in or out when its on the ground there is no give at all in the suspension, does it need aligned? its a 89 ef sedan

I have no idea what you just asked.

And I'm guessing you need an alignment regardless.

No give at all in the suspension?
How low are you?

Sounds like you dropped so low that the upper A-arms are hitting at the top.

its got 2.5 inch drop springs, n i can see bout an inch between the ball joint and the top of the wheel well, but the front end has no give, i would probably be better off getin the oem ball joints done

this i understand and agree with.

you dont need camber kits. only fools buy them.

o/p the control arms will hit the chasis before the ball joints do, about 3 inches back from the ball joint, speaking from experience
