Hi Guys,

my civic antenna is stuck and not going all the way down, the pics show the max. I can push it down.
I tried using wd40 and forcing it down with a hammer but didn't work.
It is damaging my car car cover.

any ideas how to fix that?

 

Son. You're doing it all wrong. That shouldn't be going anywhere near the headliner. I'm going to assume it's the headliner otherwise what is the point of the pic?. That you were able to poke it through the headliner means you were doing some serious damage. But that's what the hammer was for.

It should run down the A-pillar.

 

I think he means when he puts the car cover on his car it makes makes holes because headliner material wouldn't have made it through the hammering

I was trying to figure out how that could be the headliner.
Something in the a-pillar is obviously blocking the antenna from being pushed down. Have you tried pulling it out and trying to re-install it?

And, duuuur. He said it was the car cover in the op. Missed that.
