blown motor?
was headed down the hwy tonight and BOOM oil all over the windshield best part is open the hood and there is a hole big enough i can stick my fist in and grab a rod
. and yes i will post pics as soon as i get the car home. so the question is what should i put in in now? ive heard a H22a would fit right in but not entirely sure i have a budget of 5k and its an auto car. ive been wanting to do a swap for some time now but i have a real reason this time

Obviously most people would agree that an h22 is the best swap for an Accord if you're on a budget, and 5k should be enough if you do as much work as possible on your own.
And about your car being an auto, i THINK an auto prelude transmission will work without any modification. I don't know a lot about that part though, you'll have to do your own homework there.

As for how hard is the 5 speed swap... how familiar are you with working on cars and doing swaps? What kind of tools do you have and what type of work area will you be using?
In my opinion doing and engine and trans swap at the same time is the easiest way. As long as you have the room and proper tools it can be done in a weekend with some help. I'd give it a 7 - 10. 1 being easy, 10 being hard
