Default Cooler tranny fluid help

I have a 2000 crv with 197k miles. Motor is stock, tans is auto. Transmission shifts fine until it reaches normal operating temperatures. Then first gear (and first gear only) slips until just under 2k rpm, then it launches. If I idle and the temps come back down, the trans shifts fine again... Any recommended tranny fluid that runs cooler or radiator fluid that runs cold? Trying to get a little extra life out of this tranny. Thanks!

You can try Lucas transmission fix. It is very viscous. I would try that if you don't feel like the need for changing the fluid.

My trans was shifting inconsistently. I used half a bottle 1/2 bottle of Lucas transmission fix, and it helped after a few drives.
