A few days ago my speedometer stopped working and the check engine light came on. I have a code reader and got a P0500 code and from what I've found its an issue with the vehicle speed sensor (VSS). I found a few locations on the car that look similar to the VSS but I'm not 100% sure. The wires at least I thought were the VSS connectors I cleaned out with electrical contact cleaner. That worked for a day so now its back to not working again. Whenever I clean the connectors out the speedometer works but only for less than a day. Can someone tell me where the VSS is exactly on a manual 2001 CR-V? A photo would be much appreciated. At least right now I think there is an issue with ether the wiring or the VSS it self, so I would have to replace the VSS.

VSS is on trans case under throttle.
