Hey all, growing up lots of friends had Hondas but I was always into trucks. Recently have gotten into racing a bit in a friends car and so I traded my beat up 4x4 for a beat up 89 civic lx sedan. Just building it to be a cheap autocross and track thrill, all go no show. Keeping the ac though, I live in Phoenix AZ

89 EF civic lx sedan, 5speed, 276k miles, it's got a head from a 96 or so I was told (any ideas what that might mean with the stock d15b2 block?)
Relatively new:
Tires(cheapest ones at discount)
Brake pads - stock replacement
Distributor
Alternator
Timing belt
Radiator
Battery
Plugs and wires
Head gasket
Ac compressor

No power steering(fine by me, I'm just gonna remove the pump)
Interior is in good shape, might remove most of it and sell it
Really terrible window tint( removal tips?)
Shift bushings are dead
No shift ****
Leaks oil, seems to be the pan gasket.
Paint is really bad
All 4 struts are blown

 

looking to build it on a SUPER tight budget for the best fun/money ratio i can. i'm not afraid to kill it in the process.
