Those are both ridiculously ugly. imo

 

Not worth the hassle. You may even end up breaking the needle in the process of removing them.

Just get an auto cluster for cheap and swap the whole gauge face along with the mini gauge motor or whatever you call it as a unit and be done with. Less hassle and drops right in w/o having to remove the needles out.
