Icon3 92-95 Civic Brake booster swap out.. HELP !!

Okay so to use a Type R master cyl on an eg, You must use a GSR Brake Booster. My question is will the GSR brake booster be a direct both up to the eg or will i have to do any modification?

Thank you.

I'm doing the same swap next month, what year is the GSR booster?
Makes a difference. 98-01 is prob what you need, thats a 1" booster. Hopefully you have that one.
As long as both booster and master cylinder are both ABS or non ABS it will work,
but all research has said this, you can use either abs or non abs on a Non ABS setup, no problem (98-01 1" GSR will likely be ABS) but You will need a double flaring tool to reflare one line and you will have to rebend the hardlines.

Yes i have a 99' GSR Booster and it is ABS (Which my 94 Coupe isn't). and i'm in the process of getting a 98-01 Type R master Cyl.

So in other words making custom hardlines is the key?

Coolio,98-01 type R MC is same as 98-01 GSR so your good. Reflaring a line and rebending the hardlines it is.
There is a thread on H-T where a guy shaves off a bit of a lip on the IM to more easily maneuver the bigger booster/MC in, I'm not sure if that's a good plan or not but something to look into if you have trouble.
I have a 88-91 d15b2 in mine (weird swap was done previously, but the IM is from the D15B7 so I may face this issue as well.
When are you doing the swap, mine isn't until June 5.

Oh okay awesome sounds pretty easy to do. I have the factory D16z6 in my car now but i'm swapping it out for a B16B Type R next month and when i pull the motor i'll be doing the brake booster swap at the same time. Thanks for all the help on this subject. I'll defiantly will be posting my build thread.

Thats a deadly swap!!! like many others that is exactly what i would like to do too, but engine won't get swapped until next year likely. Unless ofcourse something big fails, no way I'm putting more money than i have in it besides regular maintenance.
Can't wait to hear how it goes! will def sub to your build.
