I'm living in the Richmond, VA area for the summer. I flew out thinking renting a car would be easier. It hasn't. Right now my budget is $500. I have a 87 prelude Si at home. I would love for it to be here, but the engine burns oil, smokes during morning startup and has steering rack and pinion issues. Since summer's comin' it must have A/C. It must have a combined mpg of 30 and be a man. trans. Can you help me out?

 

500 isnt much to play with at all. you should be able to buy another honda in the same condition for the 500 as your 87.

search through craigslist for something cheap if thats all you really have. you never know with CL you could find a super awesome deal but im sure it'll be slim
