Default d16z6 (in a 93 sol) a/c compressor

Hello all, two questions tonight. I'm planning on installing A/C in my car soon and want to verify which compressor I would need, I can't remember. Is it the TRS090 or TRF090?

Also, the car once had a/c in it (only thing missing is the compressor, and note that I do plan on changing out the drier as well). Is this a job I can do in my driveway or is a special machine needed by a shop to do it properly?

thanks in advance all!

A quick search for the D16Z6 AC compressor reveals the Honda part number is 38810-P06-A03 which is the TRS090. You should be able to find a used one easy enough.

It's not a hard job to do in your driveway at all. Bolt the compressor on, put on the belt, adjust the tensioner, connect the lines to the compressor. Take the 2 hard lines and the switch off the old dryer and put it all back on the new dryer. You can do it all in under an hour.

Take it to an AC shop and get the system evacuated and charged.
