Sup guys. I have a 1996 Coupe, EJ8 i think is the chassis code. its an ex with a d16y8. Its lowered on Eibach springs, DC catback exhaust, and a little bit of painting in the interior. Well after talking to a guy i met in my city from craigslist, I am about to trade my car for this 1992 Civic Hatch Si. He picked it up from conway Ar a few nights ago ( im in memphis). It does have an B18a1 swap in it that does seem to be done correctly. Im 19 and havent been i this scene for long. However, where the PS was deleted, they just crimped the little tube and idk if that was correct or not. I think you have to have a manual rack or something. And It had some fuel lag. Guy drove it home fine from for 3 hours other than the fact when it hits 1/4 tank it runs out of gas. I really want to trade up. But i dont need someone elses problems. Reliability is a concern for me. He said the CEL is indicating something about the TDC sensor in the dist.

Brutally honest since you kinda asked for it.

I think trading cars is just stupid. Usually, 9 times out of 10, both cars are two rolling heaps. You're just swapping one set of problems for another.

Even if this were in the right thread how are we supposed to give you answer with pics and info on just ones car and not the other? And from the one pic you provided, if you think that this 5th gen mess (with a CEL-bad sign already) is trading UP I can only imagine what your car looks like.
