Default 2000 accord wper motor/traans replacement

My manager has a 2000 accord SE and his wipers keep going off the edge of the windshield and often get stuck upright. I assume its the wiper trans, I can move them several inches by hand at the bottom. May as well do a motor trans combo. Doesnt seem hard. What should I watch out for?

If it is sloppy/stripped out gears, and not misaligned wiper arms, you will want to verify that the new wiper motor is in the 'parked' position prior to installing the linkage.

Connect the electrical connector up to the new motor and turn the wipers 'on' and then 'off' to park the motor. This will place the motor in the correct 'parked' position to align the linkage up correctly.

Pretty sure its worn. They park fine but swing wide. He even put on a shorter blade and it still gets stuck out.
