My bike was stolen last night. It's an F4i with Lucky Strike fairings (please no flaming) in North Miami, near Sun Life Stadium. If you have any info please give me a call (305)775-9097. Here's a picture:

Police found her today around lunch. Thieves got:

Seat
Front fairings
Headlight and headlight fairing
gauge cluster
Fuel Tank

I was thinking about rebuilding as a street fighter... Making lemonade out of lemons...

Fn thiefs, i've seen some cool street fighters made from f4i's. Wouldn't be to
hard to rebuild her.

 

What's the insurance company going to give you in return? Any $$$?

 

didn't have insurance... FL doesn't require it. so all out of pocket. I did find my OEM fairings though.

 

Did you purchase your old (Lucky Strike) fairings from AuctMart? I'm thinking about purchasing some new fairings from them and have heard good/bad reviews... Any review you'd like to give them?
I ask because I notice they sell that exact setup.

 

yeah i got them from AuctMart. the front fairings never fit 100% right. I probably wouldn't buy them again if I had to do it over. I'd rather just get the OEM fairings repainted.

Welp, after replacing a bunch of parts, I charged the battery, threw in a new set of spark plugs, and this happened (it's a video; click the picture) .



Started up on the first try. Now she runs and looks like this:

used this guy a couple of times.... beautiful fit/finish includes most duct and trim pieces. EVERYTHING fits and even includes heat shield.


I had 1 piece break in shipping, took a pic and sent it to him and he sent a new one in its place without any hastle.
