Spark plug wire connections on distributor?
95 Accord EX 4cy VTEC.
Haynes manual shows connection as, looking at distributor from right side of car, 1=right, 2=bottom, 3=left, 4=top, clockwise. However, whoever put them now, has them at 1=left, 2=bottom, 3=top, 4=right - totally different of course. Which is the correct one?
I just bought NGK sparks and wires and want to do this correctly.

the firing order is 1 3 4 2 in a clockwise motion looking from passenger side of car(distributor facing)..so the latter appear to be correct....replace each wire one at a time to be sure you don't mess it up.

Pull one plug and wire at a time. Match one of the new wires with the length of the old wire and put it in place before removing any of the other wires. Continue until you have replaced all 4. Easiest way to do it without issue.

Yes, I did replace wires one-at-a-time. At least the Haynes manual says that. I believe the manual is correct too, I just had to find the "A" designation for plug 1, and it corroborated the 1-3-4-2 firing order.
