Hey everyone, im having a little problem with my car and i just wanted to see if anyone might know what it could be. Recently my car has been hesitating to turn on, like i turn the key it cranks then stops and then it will finally turn over but it will also make a high pitch sound sometimes when it turns over. The car runs fine i just dont know what might make it do that. Any input is appreciated.

Sounds like the starter is dying.

 

I thought that too but i took it off and had it tested at advance auto parts and they said it was good, i tested it twice

 

Check your grounds. Still sounds like a bad starter...

Also, see if you can get a video of out. Sounds like the starter is sticking and isn't disengaging fully by your description.
