Anyone know anything about ABS computers?
EDM EK4 hatch with EK9 brake upgrade. EK4 ABS computer replaced with EK9 computer.
With the EK4 unit, when ignition is switched on, the ABS and handbrake light come on, the ABS light goes out as normal and the handbrake light operates as normal.
With the EK9 unit, the ABS light does not illuminate with ignition and handbrake light is on permanently.
I would have expected these two to be interchangeable, I'm not sure what would have changed between the two models to cause an error?
Any ideas?
