$1500 to $2000 TOTAL BUDGET!!!!!!!! NO POWER ADDERS (NOS, TURBO, Supercharger)!!!!!!! COMPLETE REBUILD on a 170,000 mile USDM GSR...
Already have a Hytech header, Skunk2 IM, 70mm TB
Need to replace the valves (bent after a horrible mis-shift)...
Where would you spend your money to make extra horsepower????????

Good cams/valve train
Itr pistons
Arp head studs
New gaskets oil pump/water pump
S300 and tune
That should make you some good hp for not a huge nut to the pockets.
One of my engines was setup similar and in my Ef hatch went 13.0 at the strip with slicks with some room for improvement then I started spraying nitrous before getting it to go faster na.

ITR or CTR pistons on the GSR rods was a thought...
thinking of a combination of Supertech, Blox, and Brian Crower for the valve train..
ARP head studs is worth the $125.00
New gaskets, seals, oil and water pumps are a definite!!!
Thoughts on "good cams"?????
