Default Accord ECU reprogramming

Anyone know of a company that reprograms the accord ecu?

I do not need any fuel/timing curve changes, just rev limit and speed governer removed. (for some reason the ecu got PMS when i installed the H23a1 tranny, i hit the speed govern at like 100mph, dumb DX)

i would like to find someone with enough clue to kill the EGR and other smog systems. not trying to hijack your thread, but i'd like the same as you in addition to those services.

it can be done on every other car in the world people care about... i wish i had a rom reader and skillz

It can be done... im studying Hardware engineering and have been dealing with microprocessors and flash roms...

In Computer terms... you guys ever tried to flash your BIOS and shafted it? and to get it fix you have to get it re-flash... (there are ways to do this without needing a reprogrammer...)

Anyway well the ECU on the Car follows the same thing...

After reading the PDF files on how Hondata works, if you check out Hondata ROM Editor... if i can get my hands on the full version it allows u to edit exisiting ROM files... (Theres a page at hondata where they compare the fuel timings with the stock and mugen ones)

So my theory is, if you get EEProm Programmer, we can dump the ROMS (could be spoon, the stock one, watever) use the hondata ROM Editor and write a new rom and reprogram the chip with it.... with rev limiter change and what ever...

Someone shoot me if im wrong but there is a good chance this is working...

Been looking at the ATMEL AT29C256 this chip would be the perfect chip to program with the new edited ROM file...

the key to editing rom's for ECU's is knowing what addresses (hex) of the rom do what... therein lies the challenge.

Last time I checked with Hondata, they had no intentions of decoding the F-series ECUs. They probably don't feel sales would cover R&D costs, since it's pretty easy to just get another ECU from a similar Honda motor that's already be decoded. I dunno about the legality of this in some race series/classes.

Yeah, I think the P28 (Civic SOHC VTEC single runner intake) is a better match for an F-series motor.
