Default Fixing sunvisor, 94 Prelude

Hello all,

I am looking to repair the driver's side sunvisor on my wife's 94 Prelude, as the required parts have been discontinued. The visor sags, and I suspect a stripped part in the assembly, somewhere. Has anyone else had a problem with a visor that won't stay up, and if so, how did you fix it, aside from a replacement part?
I seem to remember hearing of ways to fix stripped holes or screw threads, possibly by injecting putty or epoxy of some sort.
Any ideas on how I might fix my wife's car?

Thanks.
