Default Question regarding selling my car

Hey guys, sorry if this does not belong here, please delete if it does not.

Anyway, I am planning to sell my car, 1995 Honda Accord LX with H22a. Engine is stock. The car is lowered, with VIS carbon fiber hood. The car is good shape, just need new paint job, maybe two door handles in the back (I know :\ ) I don't know if 4-5k is too much, since most cars around that year are selling around 3-4k. But this is a H22a swapped, CA legal, so I was wondering if I can get the value up a bit higher? What do you guys think?

Selling to someone who doesn't give a flying **** about engine swaps and racing, it's too much. If you sell to a tuner who wants the swapped engine in it then that's a good price.

Price is all about target market, not just what it blue books for. Cars are valued differently by different people.

All that really matters is what you'd be happy selling it for.. Being I'm on my 15th..?.. i think car. (21 years old) .. i like to buy and sell.. I bought a 2000 Gsr stock except for coilovers and rims for 5000. I drove it , had my fun with it, then sold it without the rims for 6500. Then sold the rims for 700. Yes it was for sale for FOREVER! But all it takes is that ONE buyer who would rather die than not have your car. It needing paint and all depending on how clean everything else is.. i would think 4500 or so.. If you're trying to sell it quick, then thats all up to you.

You won't get a generalized price, it doesn't work that way. A soccer mom wanting a family car isn't going to only pay (lets say) 3k for an Accord, while someone interested in tuning and performance would be willing to pay 5k. Its all about target market.
