Default Y7 to Y8 Intake Manifold Swap question

I tried searching and figuring everything out, but I can't find anything. So I apologize in advance.

I just bought a 1999 Civic DX with the y8 manifold swap on it. And it has an 09 Civic SI intake on it. It won't pass smog. Well let me rephrase that, it passes emissions, but it won't pass the visual. So no one will pass me. My question is, can I buy this AEM intake http://www.aemintakes.com/store/prod...x?Prod=22-401P and pass smog since it comes with the CARB sticker?

Again I'm sorry if this has been covered tons of times, I just need answers now.

Thanks.

That's what the CARB sticker is for.

I'm wondering why you didn't ask them what you needed to correct the deficiency when they told you that you failed? YOu never said specifically that it was the '09 intake and if it was you left that detail out.

That was why they wouldn't pass it. Because the intake wasn't meant for the car. That's exactly what the guy told me today. And that's what the guy who I took it to before told me. There is nothing wrong with the car. No codes or anything. Just the intake since it is not meant for the car. That's what they told me. Sorry for leaving that out.
