Default Buying a first gen rex, help

I want a b series motor, but upon popping the guys hood wondered how I would squeeze a motor into that engine bay. Looks like I couldn't fit a mik crate in there. And also, when the motor is in, do I have to practically remove it to repair things due to lack of room? post pics of yours if you got one.

Believe me, there's plenty of room...run a search or check out the pics thread and you'll see some of the modded engine bays around.

i had an 87 with a B20 in it, and it was really tight.
the back of the intake manifold to the firewall was less than half an inch.
and the alternator pulley was even less than that to the chassis.
it's a pain, but it'll all work fine.
