Default Rebuilding a legend

I'm sure quite a few of you remember this car from various posts on this forum, events and Expo. MikeHonda has been around for a loooong time. Anyways, he decided to part ways with his beloved 1998 ITR and we swooped it up. Not only are we rebuilding it, but we are doing it at the Honda Show this year! We plan on dropping in a motor, bolting up suspension, brakes and interior. All in about 5 hours! So for those of you that are attending, and parking in the ITR section, you'll have another roomate.

Corner 3? Is he still there? I had them do an oil change and tranny fluid change on my car. They seemed like real good guys.

I think ITRs with SE37s looks amazing haha

Luv this car. Here's another from ITR Expo 5. The first time I ever saw it.

after seeing this car upclose, I knew I had to have one. 2 weeks later, I had got rid of my former EM1 and found an R. Never had any regrets.

This car was also featured at the Banquet that year. It was inside the Dining Hall with us while we ate. Here is what that looked like.

It's a power steering removal reservoir. Relieves the fluid pressure in the rack when converted to manual.

This car is legendary.

The build at the show went very well. I think everyone enjoyed it. We ran into a small snag that wouldn't allow us to actually fire the car up, so we didnt bother adding fluids and what not. The folks at HASport will be finishing it up in a few weeks.

This is what we accomplished at the show:

- Chris (aquafina) from Whoopee Do Racing fully rebuilt the trans and added a custom gear set and M-factory LSD. He actually drove out from TN and built the trans at the show! The Dood is a road warrior. Highly recommend!

- HASport installed a K20 Type S motor with their new axles they manufacture, a whole bunch of K-Tuned parts, K-Pro and Koyo radiator.

- Wilwood installed their new 6 piston brake kit that fits under 15" Rays Gramligths

- Eibach installed R2 coilovers

- New Buddy Club seats

- Crow Harnesses

- Nardi wheel

- CRZY engineering diffusser

I'll get some pics when we are complete. It's going to be a beast of a car.
