hondata s300 ECT reading vs other softwares?

Default hondata s300 ECT reading vs other softwares?

hi guys,
i'v been experiencing with the s300 for some time now, and i'v noticed that the ect reading and refresh rate is slower then other software, could this be true?

Per hondata's website there is a time "buffer" in s300 to take account of air pockets

All along I was thinking it was the ECT sensor being slow in response.

Note that the way the ECU buffers the water temperature in order to prevent fluctuating readings from air pockets etc. Consequently changes made to the water temperature compensation tables will not have an immediate effect. The ECU response time can be increased by shorting the service connector.
