Other parts necessary for 94-99 GSR Header Install using PLM Toda Rep?
Evening guys. I tried the search function but it keeps giving me the honda-tech is "undergoing a temporary outage" for the past 3 days and I need to figure this out soon...
I know that the 94-99 GSR header is short, and I know I need some custom cat work to fit this header on my 1997 GSR.

Has anyone made a list of exactly which cat will bolt up? Is there any way to avoid custom cutting and sizing at a muffler shop? I also plan to buy an Apexi Noir exhaust, if I buy the one fitting the 2001 Type-R could I just buy a 2001 Type-R Cat and everything would be sized properly?
I'd prefer NOT to buy the exhaust now (we just need to tide the car over for another year before we buy an ITR swap) to save cash and just do the header since it can carry over to the final build...
Final desired setup... Toda replica header into 1997 GSR Factory Exhaust, with a functioning cat.
If this is impossible.. Toda replica header into Apexi Noir, with a functioning cat.

You should be able to bolt that right up it says short tube. most say "long tube deletes cat) this doesn't. if need be you could cut out a section of the mid pipe AFTER the cat then just weld it back. or go with one of their telescoping test pipes. unless you need it for emmissions.
I dunno. In comparison to the DC Sports 4-2-1 on their website (specifically for the 97 GSR) all other headers appear "too long"....
